Located in a convenient and central area of the historic center of Venice, close to the Accademia Bridge and Galleries (certainly the most important museum of Venice as concerns the Venetian art and painting), Ca' Turelli is ideally placed for visiting Venice and reaching all major attractions.
In addition to the Accademia Galleris, in a few minutes you can walk to St. Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge, La Fenice Theatre, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Basilica della Salute.
We are located just a few minutes walk to Ca 'Rezzonico too, a splendid palace on the Grand Canal, home of the Museum of the Eighteenth Century Venice.
HOW TO REACH US
Ca' Turelli is located 5 minutes walk from the nearest vaporetto (water bus), Line 1 "Ca' Rezzonico" and "Accademia" stops, and Line 5.1 "Zattere" stop. There's also the fast Alilaguna water transport that stops at both "Ca 'Rezzonico" and "Zattere".
We are convernient for those arriving in Venice by any means, plane, train, bus, car, cruise ship.
From Marco Polo Airport you have several possibilities:
- Water Transports. We recommend you to take the water transport Alilaguna Orange Line that stops at Ca 'Rezzonico, 5 minutes walk from Ca' Turelli. The trip lasts about 1 hour, the ticket can be purchased directly at the airport, just out of the baggage claim to your left or on board.
- Land Transports. Take the shuttle bus ATVO to Venice Piazzale Roma (20 minutes journey) or ACTV Bus n. 5 (half hour drive). Both will take you to Piazzale Roma from where you can take the vaporetto line 1 and get off at stops Ca 'Rezzonico or Accademia, equidistant from us.
From Piazzale Roma or from the Railway Station Saint Lucia:
You can take the vaporetto line 1 and get off at stops Ca 'Rezzonico or Accademia, equidistant from us, or vaporetto line 5.1 and get off at the Zattere stop. Line 1 along the Grand Canal and Line 5.1 line across the Giudecca Canal. The single vaporetto ticket in Venice costs 7.50 € per person, each way, so if you plan to visit the city using public transport we recommend you to buy a timed tourist ticket (for several days).
Alternatively, if you do not have much luggage, and you like to walk, both from Piazzale Roma (Bus Terminal) and from the Railway Station Saint Lucia, you can reach Ca' Turelli in a 15 minutes beautiful walk.
From the Cruise Terminal and the Tronchetto parking lot:
Ca ' Turelli is easily reachable for those arriving in Venice by cruise ship and for those arriving by car and park on the Tronchetto island. 3 stops of water transport Alilaguna and you can reach from there the "Zattere" stop, 5 minutes walk from us.
